-
Certificate of quality
Canaragua is aware of the social commitment involved in managing natural resources and considers that its participation in this management should contribute to people's quality of life and generate value for stakeholders.
Certification of the quality management system in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard is an independent, periodic verification by an external body of Canaragua's management and service provision. The company's management guarantees the continuous improvement of its processes and activities, and ensures that they are carried out with quality and efficiency, with the ultimate aim of gaining customer satisfaction.
To achieve these aims, we have developed a unique management model that adds value to the organisation, in accordance with the principles and objectives defined in our Integrated Management Policy.

-
Environmental certification
Certification of the environmental management system in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard is an independent, periodic verification by an external body to ensure that Canaragua strictly meets the legal environmental requirements that apply to the service provision. Attaining this certification allows the company to fulfil its explicit commitment to society and environment, namely to take all necessary measures to respect biodiversity and establish the means required to prevent contamination. To achieve these aims, we have developed a unique management model that adds value to the Organisation, in accordance with the principles and objectives defined in our Integrated Management Policy.
The Canaragua Environmental Management System is certified by standard ISO 14001.

Health and safety certification
OHSAS 18001 specifies the requirements for an occupational health and safety (OHS) management system so that an organisation can control its occupational health and safety risks and improve its performance in this area.
The certificate of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System in accordance with OHSAS enables Canaragua to:
Reduce the occupational accident rate and increase productivity, by identifying, assessing, and controlling the risks associated with each job, and avoiding causes of accidents and illness at work. Increase perceptions of a safer environment for workers. This leads to a reduction in illnesses, leave or absenteeism, an increase in productivity, a progressive reduction in the accident rate, and a reduction in sanctions and unnecessary expenses.
Comply with occupational health and safety legislation and integrate this into the organisation's processes. This leads to a reduction in costs and administrative sanctions derived from non-compliance, as well as improvements in the internal management of the organisation, and in the communication between company and employee, company and government bodies, and company and stakeholders.
Promote a culture of prevention through the incorporation of occupational health and safety measures into the company's general system (required by law) and the commitment of all employees to continuous improvements in occupational health and safety.
Due to the above, OHSAS 18001 certification from AENOR is the perfect tool to establish the right policy of occupational health and safety at Canaragua.
Canaragua's Occupational Health and Safety Management System is certified based on the OHSAS 18001 standard.
